Task for Week 3 is Live

Hi All,

The "Task for Today" and "Independent Study" for Week 3 is now live on the course website. Follow the Week 3 link from the EXP1 webpage; here. You may need to refresh the page in your browser for the link to show up. Feel free to take a look before Mondays Studio to see what's next.

In the meantime, good luck on your first submision on Sunday.

(Note: there is no face to face lecture next week, so come straight to Studio at 1pm).

Silkeborg Museum Section

Hi All,

One of your tutors, Chris Freeburn, alerted me to a video showing animated sections through the Jorn Utzon designed Silkeborg Museum which was one of the unbuilt projects I showed in the lecture last week; the substantially underground museum which has many things in common with the project we are doing.

It finishes off with looking from above to show how a "plan" is simply a horizontal rather than vertical section.

You'll remember that Jorn Utzon also designed the Sydney Opera House ... wouldn't it be great to see this project realised!

Tutorial Groups

Hi Everyone,

Please find your tutorial allocations for ARCH1101 by following the link at the top left of the course website, here: www.russelllowe.com/arch1101_2020

We have to change the UNSW tutorial allocations every year to get an even number and mix of students in every tutorial group, so please ignore the UNSW tutorial groups you signed up for.
